Amongst Another While continues from my earlier landscape series Amongst While (2022), revisiting the woods and trees that have always been my place of refuge. These works are shaped by the ebb and flow of memory—how moments of struggle, healing, and quiet presence can coexist within the same landscape.

The trees stand as witnesses: constant yet ever-changing, holding space for solitude and safety. They carry the magical air of hope, a reminder that nature has the power to soothe, shelter, and renew. In this series, I reflect on my ongoing relationship with these landscapes—my hideouts where I could forget reality for a while, breathe deeply, and feel accepted.

Amongst Another While is both a continuation and a return: a way of looking again, more tenderly, at the places that ground me and whisper the possibility of light through the shadows. August 2025
